Modern ideas of theoretical bases of processes of melting, casting, degassing and filtration of aluminium deformable alloys are given. Described is modern technological equipment for the production of ingots and their control for defects. Processes of disposal of aluminium slags and low-grade scrap are considered. Brands of aluminum alloys of Russia, USA, Germany and Japan are given. The basic physical characteristics of primary aluminium and the production of raw aluminium produced in electrolysis cells are briefly described.
