The purpose of this manual is to provide a detailed, as simple and accessible as possible to the "inexperienced" reader, presentation of some of the main sections of the "Theory of Oscillations" course related to the description of the nature of phase trajectories in the vicinity of equilibrium states of autonomous non-linear dynamical systems with one and one and a half degrees of freedom.
