The monograph presents an assessment from the modern positions of the institutional and structural transformations of the Soviet economy in the run-up to and during the Great Patriotic War. The priorities of mobilization restructuring of domestic industry, commodity agriculture, state and municipal finances, as well as changes in the spatial organization of the productive forces of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War were described.
