This manual covers only the basic mathematical methods of information protection, and among them the main emphasis is placed on cryptographic protection, which includes symmetric and asymmetric encryption methods, secret key generation, protocols for restricting access and authenticating messages and users. In addition, the manual discusses typical vulnerabilities of operating and information computing systems.
