The book analyzes both functional and regional aspects of the US military strategy under the Trump administration, as well as the possible consequences of the actions of the American side for the national and military security of the Russian Federation. Changes in American strategy affect, firstly, the strategic balance between Moscow and Washington - and this applies to both strategic defensive and strategic offensive weapons. Secondly, the transformation of the military strategy of the United States affects the state of the military balance in those regions of the planet that are directly adjacent to the "periphery" of the Russian Federation - in Europe, the Middle East, the Asia-Pacific region and the Arctic.
