An exhibition of works by the outstanding artist of the 20th century Alexander Alexandrovich Deineka, offered to the Moscow audience, was organized as part of the Golden Card project carried out by the State Tretyakov Gallery. The idea of ​ ​ the exhibition was born during the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the artist, held in Kursk in May 1999. In those days, a monument to Deineke was unveiled in the city on the street bearing his name, an art school named after A.A. Deineki was created.
