The book highlights a little-known page in the history of Ukraine - the armed struggle of the Ukrainian People's Republic against the aggression of Bolshevik Russia in 1917-1920. Based on a wide range of documents and memoirs of contemporaries, the causes of the Ukrainian-Bolshevik wars were considered, the course of hostilities between Ukrainian armies and Russian Bolshevik troops was recreated.
