No matter how great Pushkinian is, we still do not have a complete monographic work covering Pushkin's career throughout its entire length. One of our largest Pushkinists, Corresponding Member of the USSR Academy of Sciences D. D. Blagoy, devoted most of his life to developing this topic. His fundamental study "Pushkin's Creative Path (1813-1826)," published in 1950, was deservedly praised by critics and was awarded the State Prize.
