Ethnographic album "Traditional culture of the Russian people in the middle zone of the European part of the country" was created on the basis of unique materials collected by Russian ethnologists during ethnographic expeditions in the second half of the 20th century. The album presents the main and visually most expressive elements of folk culture: settlements, housing, clothes. The first part of the book provides information on the history of the formation of the Russian population of the region, local ethnographic groups, traditional cultural complexes. The second part contains illustrative materials. The publication is intended for a wide range of readers, specialists in related disciplines, teachers and students.
