Properties of interpolation spaces and trace function spaces on manifolds of smaller number of dimensions are investigated. Elliptic operators are studied in the corresponding spaces. A priori estimates of solutions are also obtained for spaces with a negative index. In conclusion, evolutionary equations of the variational type are considered. Along with the results already obtained, the book also contains formulations of problems that have not yet been resolved.
