The proposed textbook "Pharmaceutical Chemistry" refers to a new generation of educational literature. The content of the book reflects the latest changes associated with the emergence of new drugs and the introduction of modern methods of pharmaceutical analysis and quality control of drugs. The book presents in detail and comprehensively the classification of drugs, the relationship between their structure, chemical properties and pharmacological action. The basics of molecular docking and drug development strategies are considered, including issues of computer design, stability, pharmaceutical incompatibility. New sections are presented: biological drugs (insulin, vaccines, serums, monoclonal antibodies, etc.) and medical chemistry, dedicated to opioid analgesics.
