This publication has carried out the scientific publication of a unique set of documents from the funds of the Russian State Archive of Socio-Political History - Protocols of the Commission for the Separation of Church and State under the Central Committee of the RCP (b) -VKP (b) (Anti-Religious Commission): 1922-1929. The published materials make it possible to assess the true role of the highest party-state power and punitive bodies in the formation of the religious policy of the Soviet state in the 1920s.
