The book is based on a course of lectures given by the author for many years at the Physics Department of Moscow State University. As a result of generalization of experimental facts, the basic laws of electrodynamics are formulated in a compressed, clear form and their physical meaning is clarified. The presentation is based on SI. The new edition made some additions and changes to the previous edition. For students of physical and physical-mathematical faculties of universities, physical-technical and engineering-physical institutes, as well as for universities, where physics is the main discipline; the book may also be useful for physics teachers in high school.
