The book is devoted to the substantiation of the linguistics of information-psychological warfare as a scientific direction in the framework of political linguistics related to the study of language and speech technologies of information-psychological confrontation. Relevance is shown, the subject field, interdisciplinary grounds and problems of this direction, its main terminological apparatus are indicated. Particular attention is paid to the need to search for criteria for qualifying texts as belonging to the discourse of information and psychological warfare, style and genre preferences of its actors. It is intended primarily for people professionally interested in the problems of information-psychological wars, but it will be useful for a wide range of readers, since it contributes to understanding the dangers that the information-psychological war launched against Russia entails, and to the awareness of the need to confront it.
