The book introduces readers and especially young people and Komsomol members to the combat history and combat traditions of the ship, as well as to the history of the friendship of the working people of the republic with its crew. When creating the book, the author used materials on patronage communication, letters and memoirs of participants in the construction of the ship, stories of veteran cruisers.
