The name of Ivan Stanislavovich Bliokh (1836-1901), the largest Russian banker, concessionaire of railways in the Russian Empire, is associated with a number of large generalizing scientific studies. The most famous of them was the multi-volume work "The Future War in Technical, Political and Economic Relations," published in 1898 and which was very popular throughout Europe, which covered the military-technical, economic and political aspects of the war.
