The monograph is devoted to the long history of the formation of the architectural and urban planning environment of the most famous sea resorts of Sambia in East Prussia (modern Kaliningrad Peninsula, Kaliningrad Region of the Russian Federation). The change in coastal settlements was closely related to both the development of architectural styles and changes in the socio-cultural sphere. The presented resorts of the Kaliningrad region, such as Zelenogradsk (formerly Krants), Svetlogorsk (formerly Raushen), Pionersky (formerly Neukuren), Otradnoye (formerly Georgenswalde), mainly retained the historical appearance and individual originality of the development.
