A reader is a special kind of tutorial. It focuses primarily on the independent work of the student, an in-depth study of the discipline. The anthology consists of two parts. The theoretical part includes a wide range of works: from ancient philosophical treatises, classical works to the works of modern authors. The historical part introduces readers to the literary works of the Ancient East, Antiquity, Europe and Russia. The appendix contains some samples of works of art culture. For undergraduate and specialty students studying the discipline "Cultural Studies," as well as teachers of humanitarian disciplines.
