The proposed book for the first time on the basis of a systematic biogeochemical approach describes the patterns of quantitative and qualitative distribution of natural and anthropogenic hydrocarbons: aliphatic (including alkane) and polycyclic aromatic in all external spheres (atmospheric, cryo-, bio-, hydro-, lithosphere), taking into account the flow of endogenous hydrocarbons.
