This military-historical essay was written by a team of generals, admirals and officers - veterans of the Great Patriotic War, as well as researchers from the Institutes of History of the Academies of Sciences of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. Based on extensive archival materials, the authors tried to recreate the history of the heroic struggle of the Soviet Armed Forces and the peoples of the Soviet Baltic States. The book presents photo illustrations and combat schemes.
