This book is devoted to the analysis of US economic policy during the period of the government headed by John Fitzgerald Kennedy. This period covers a little less than three years - since January 1961, when J.F. Kennedy, elected by a small majority of voters, officially took office, and until November 1963, when the terrorist attack in Dallas cut short his life. In fact, the period preceding the election of Kennedy as head of state, when the main directions of the economic policy of the future government of the Democratic Party, as well as the first steps of the new President Lyndon B. Johnson, mainly coinciding with the course taken by the Kennedy cabinet, were already formulated in general terms. Naturally, when analyzing the economic measures of the Kennedy government, the authors made the necessary comparisons with the measures of his predecessors D. Eisenhower, G. Truman and F. Roosevelt.
