The monograph is devoted to one of the areas of functional analysis - the geometry of Banach spaces. The properties of many functionals that reach the norm on the sphere, smooth and convex norms, weakly compactly generated Banach spaces are studied. The geometric aspects of the Radon-Nicodemus theorem for Banach spaces are considered.
