World wars (and the upcoming war should be and will be world in the most complete and accurate sense of the word) have world significance and world meaning. World causes govern their flow, beginning and ending. The world wars of the late 18th and early 19th centuries had such significance and meaning in the change of forces that control the fate of civilized peoples and guide their history. France was a representative of the new forces that demanded a place and even domination in the world. The third estate, the bourgeoisie, capitalism - these were these forces, and the world wars of that era ended with the triumph of new forces, although their representative, France, suffered a military and political defeat in the end.
