The textbook presents a typical topology of the structure of the track surface and formalization of the interaction of the propulsor with the supporting surface. Extensive reference information is provided on the characteristics of terrain topography and the properties of materials of traffic surfaces that make up the track of transport and technological machines (TTM). Recommendations are given on determination of reactions of motion surfaces to propulsor TTM from the side of track bed and terrain as a whole at action on their elements by machines. An extensive bibliography on the topic is presented.
