This collection includes all the party's directives on the pioneer movement. Of the decisions of the Komsomol on the pioneer organization, as well as from the official provisions on working with young pioneers, the collection includes only those that have not lost their significance to date and can serve as a guide to action; some documents of the formation period of the organization of young pioneers are also included, which help to understand the essence and nature of the pioneer movement and give a certain idea of ​ ​ the individual stages of the development of the movement and the system of educational work of the pioneer organization. Of the decisions and orders of the Ministry of Education of the RSFSR, only those materials are also published that currently serve as a guide in practical work with pioneers.
