This is how the "Evil Dog" thinks of himself - an intergalactic heavy cruiser of the "predator" class, originally created for destruction and murder, but, unlike his wild ancestors, "grew" his conscience. After the recent end of a bloody war that destroyed Pelapatarn - a planet with a unique biosphere and thinking jungles - the Evil Dog team, led by Captain Sally Konstanz, is on a humanitarian mission. Having received the task to help the liner, who crashed under a strange set of circumstances, the captain is forced to take on board two agents who once belonged to warring groups. They are very interested in one of the passengers of the crashed liner... Soon the usual rescue operation turns into a dangerous raid. The embers of war are still smoldering, and to inflate it again, a single wrong step is enough. Will "Evil Dog" manage to extinguish a conflict that could engulf the entire galaxy?
