The historical story of Zinovy ​ ​ Davydov about the heroic defense of Sevastopol in the Crimean War with illustrations by V. Vysotsky. Davydov wrote the story "Ship Slobodka" - about the heroic defense of Sevastopol in the Crimean War (1853-1856). In the center of the story are ordinary defenders of the great city. Along with fictional heroes, the story also depicts historical faces: the sister of the Mi-Loserdia Dasha Sevastopolskaya, the sailor Pyotr Koshka, the wonderful commanders Nakhimov, Kornilov, the surgeon Pirogov and others. Story 3. Davydova "Ship Sloboda" is written in a lively, figurative language; the author knows well the historical mother-al of the era. In front of the reader are vivid pictures of the life and customs of the inhabitants of Korabelnaya Sloboda, their ardent love for the Motherland.
