Ancient atomistics is the most important department of the history of ancient philosophy, the most valuable in its ideological content and the richest in the volume of spiritual creativity of representatives of this movement of philosophical thought of antiquity. It is central to the history of ancient philosophy. But until recently, this department of the history of philosophy was an abandoned site and was given only secondary importance. Even the very name of the founder of the atomistic philosophy of Leucippus was often forgotten or declared a myth. Paying tribute to the great materialists of antiquity and embarking on a comprehensive monographic study of their teachings is an urgent task facing us. Real work is devoted to this task.
