For the first time in Soviet literature, the monograph gives a holistic analysis of the evolution of the worldview of Bertrand Russell, the largest representative of modern bourgeois humanism, philosopher and mathematician. The historical and philosophical origins of his ideas and concepts, the impact of the latter on modern Western philosophy and science are critically understood. Disclosed is the neorealistically empirical orientation of Russell's philosophy, its conditioning by natural science and epistemological causes.
