The underside of the colorful cartoon masterpieces of world animation can reveal to the eyes of our children the twofold edification skillfully woven into children's stories. Somewhere less, and somewhere more clearly visible are non-childish messages of all kinds of entertainment content for children on popular channels. In their book, Boris Zykov and Lisa Göttinger want to draw the attention of readers to dubious truths and frankly corrupting subtexts veiled by multiplication masters in famous animated works. Plots that should, in theory, bring to the mind of our children pure and bright thoughts, filled with morality, in fact, may not be what they seem.
