It is spring at Pemberley. Soon it will be the first of May, the day on which love outdoors might begin. Darcy suggests that he and Lizzy enjoy a pic-nic together in the fields and meadows of Pemberley. A pleasant walk, good food and wine and perhaps, if the mood should take them... Lizzy receives a letter from Jane which bemoans her marriage. More specifically she reveals that Mr Bingley does not seem interested in her in a physical way. He has not touched her for several weeks and Jane is understandably distraught. As it is Jane's birthday, Lizzy decides to host a celebration to which Jane and Charles as well as her sisters and parents are all invited. Lizzy hopes that this will cheer up Jane as well as giving Darcy a chance to speak to Charles. Of course, Darcy and Lizzy's plans for a sexy pic-nic are forgotten for now. Lydia is invited to Pemberley but her husband Wickham is not. He is annoyed and wishes to revenge himself on Darcy. He decides to stay in a tavern nearby and visit Lydia in a remote field near Pemberley. He will then enjoy marital relations with his wife and ensure that Darcy sees them and knows that his enemy has defiled his property. Darcy however does not see them in flagrante delicto. But Charles Bingley does. Remarkably this gives him the spurt he needs and he is able to make love to his wife once more. Jane is delighted and she and Bingley spend a great deal of time in their bedchamber. The celebrations continue and everybody has a wonderful time. Mrs Bennet is as annoying as usual, asking Mr Bingley a series of embarrassing questions. When the guests leave, Darcy and Lizzy realise it is the first of May and decide to enjoy their pic-nic in a remote field where they will not be seen. They renew their love and enjoy a passionate time together as man and wife. They make al fresco love and rejoice in their marriage This is a sexy and funny variation on Jane Austen's classic novel.
