In the manual, an attempt was made on the basis of the theoretical foundations of the design and illustration of fairy-tale literature for children to present a methodological system that ensures the active artistic and cognitive activity of the future teacher of fine arts during his professional training in higher education. The version of the educational and thematic plan, forms of classes and their content are presented.
