The monograph is devoted to the study of the processes of semantic formation and interpretation of folk signs, taking into account their structural-semantic and cognitive-pragmatic features. Questions about the status of folk signs in the paremiological system of the language are discussed; specific structural and substantive features of folk signs are determined; the prognostic essence of the host is revealed. Structural-grammatical means with the same type of categorical semantics are analyzed, adapted to a specific situation of communication by means of structural and semantic implication and explication. The possibilities of stratifying the communicative-pragmatic level of the analyzed paremiological discourse using frame analysis are investigated.
