The monograph gives a fairly complete picture of the efforts made by public authorities and management to introduce digital technologies in their activities. Particular attention is paid to the issues of regulatory regulation of digitalization in Russia. Individual problems hindering the introduction of digital technologies and new approaches to their solution are considered. Based on the analysis of the development of the information society in Russia and in leading foreign countries, recommendations were prepared aimed at achieving the goals of the Strategies for the Development of the Information Society of the Russian Federation for 2017-2030 and the scientific and technological development of the Russian Federation.
