The monograph summarizes the author's long-term observations and literature data on the use of natural resources of resorts in the rehabilitation of patients with various chronic dermatoses. Indications and contraindications for sanatorium-resort selection in local medical institutions are given. The description of physical factors, in particular artificial mineral waters (baths) used in resorts and in out-of-resort conditions is given. Modern methods of therapy for adults and children in resorts are described in detail. The need for post-resort observation, ensuring continuity in treatment according to the hospital-sanatorium-polyclinic (dispensary) scheme was emphasized. The monograph is designed for balneologists and dermatologists.
