The textbook is written on the basis of many years of experience in conducting classes in general physics at the Physics Department of Moscow State University and is an integral part of a series of educational and methodological developments of the Department of General Physics of the Physics Department of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. The textbook is the final third part of the module "Seminars" of the series "University course in general physics" (the first part is "Development of seminars," the second is "Methods for solving problems"). The manual deals primarily with the most characteristic and typical tasks. The collection contains about 750 tasks in the section "Molecular Physics and Thermodynamics" of the course of general physics.
