Mechanical processes in solid, liquid and powder systems are considered in the book from the unified positions of continuum mechanics, thermodynamics and physical kinetics. Particular emphasis is placed on the kinetics of sintering and sintering of powder layers in connection with the existing technologies for applying protective coatings to machine parts. The role and interaction of sintering activating factors is shown.
