The book summarizes the results of a large-scale study on the perception of images of power and politicians by Russian citizens from 1993 to the present. Features of political perception in each of the considered periods of post-Soviet history are characterized: the era of B.N. Yeltsin (1993-2000), the first two Putin presidencies (2000-2008) the presidency of D.A. Medvedev (2008-2012) and the third presidency of V.V. Putin (2012-2018). The perception by citizens of the top officials of the state (B.N. Yeltsin, D.A. Medvedev, V.V. Putin), regional politicians, party leaders, opposition leaders, up to representatives of the latest generation (A.A. Navalny, K.A. Sobchak, N.V. Poklonskaya, M.A. Suraikin). The event context and political background of the historical period in question are displayed.
