This textbook studies space propulsion systems (SGS) with electric rocket engines, the thrust of which is created as a result of the interaction of electromagnetic, electrostatic fields with an ionized working fluid. Such an installation consists of two main parts: an on-board power plant (KEU) and the actual electric rocket engine (KERD).
