Meat cattle breeding is currently receiving quite a lot of attention. Due to state support for the development of beef cattle breeding, in accordance with the federal scientific and technical program for the development of agriculture for 2017-2025, large business came to the country with modern innovative technologies, which are implemented in large enterprises with a large number of beef cattle in Kaluga, Bryansk, Voronezh, Lipetsk and other areas. In this regard, there is a need to train highly qualified students who meet the requirements of the modern labor market and the strategy for the development of agricultural education in the Russian Federation until 2030.
