Collection of articles edited by V.N. Storozhev was published in the series "Libraries for Self-Education." This series included books, each of which gave the necessary minimum of knowledge, without which acquaintance with any section of science cannot be recognized as thorough. Articles placed in this collection are devoted to the history of Kievan Rus.
