The book includes 128 tasks (with solutions), selected by topics: "Myth and ritual," "Structure of folklore text," "Functioning of folklore text," "Semantics of space," "Naming systems," "Calendar and time calculation," "Language and society," etc. The collection demonstrates a systematic approach to the study of a diverse folklore material considered in various aspects (from the point of view of the structure of society, the internal structure of the language, typology of texts). In Russian folklore, this is the first experience of this kind, before there were only collections of linguistic tasks. The publication is recommended as a textbook for students and graduate students of philological, historical, cultural, anthropological and linguistic specialties.
