Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph von Schelling (1775-1854) was not only one of the founders of German classical idealism, but also a thinker in which this movement came to its conclusion. Unlike the early works of the philosopher, which can be safely called the quintessence of the philosophy of romanticism and which Schelling himself called negative philosophy, his later works - "Philosophy of Mythology" and "Philosophy of Revelation" (the thinker himself called them positive philosophy) - could be called natural, that is, based not only on Scripture, but also on the religious experience of mankind, a system of theology. The book was compiled by small works of the thinker, allowing you to imagine the context in which the "Philosophy of Mythology" and "Philosophy of Revelation" were formed, thereby completing the publication of materials related to Schelling's Positive Philosophy.
