This monograph briefly covers the creative activities of Moscow architects who in the mid-1920s. and the years of the first five-year plans (1928-1936) actively participated in all-Union and custom-made competitions of architectural projects in the avant-garde and post-hangard style of large public buildings of a new type for Bolshoi Sverdlovsk, then the administrative center of the Ural region. In the first half of the 1930s. famous metropolitan architects took part in the development of planning solutions and the reconstruction of the rapidly developing industrial cities of the Urals: Nizhny Tagil, Nadezhdinsk (Serov), Kamensk-Uralsky, Krasnouralsk, Degtyarsk, etc. According to the projects of Moscow architects in these cities during the transitional period of domestic architecture in the style of "enriched constructivism," Art Deco and neoclassicism, a number of residential buildings were built in social cities, working districts and villages with new factories and factories.
