The construction of every bridge in the modern world becomes a big event in the life of any city in which it is built. The book "Tsar's Bridge. The Golden Crossing over the Yenisei" was created and published in order to preserve and convey to future generations information about the only engineering structure of the Trans-Siberian Railway, along with the Eiffel Tower, awarded the Grand Prix and the Great Gold Medal of the World Exhibition in Paris "for architectural excellence and excellent technical performance."
