Nikolai Furmankov is one of the most interesting representatives of the realistic school of painting of that time. The individuality of the artist's pictorial language combined with the foundations of realism, the variety of plots of his works - all this made up the creative baggage of a talented painter. Shortly before his death, his personal exhibition was held, a modest catalog came out, but Furmankov's name remained known only to a narrow circle of colleagues and connoisseurs of painting.
