This book brought together authors who worked in different years in the archaeological expeditions of A.V. Vinogradov, when he was the head of the Archaeological Circle of the Leningrad Palace of Pioneers or taught at the Faculty of History of Leningrad State University. It contains articles devoted to the study of the Paleolithic of Siberia, the Neolithic of the north-west of the European part of Russia, the early Bronze Age of Central Asia, the study of art and material culture of the Scythian time of Sayano-Altai, Slavic antiquities, medieval history of Southern Siberia and Crimea, as well as ethno graphics, linguistics and history of Russia.
