We live in a dynamic era, teetering on two key tipping points. One is the current interplay between the "old" - the reductive anatomy of the musculoskeletal system as we have understood it since Vesalius - and the more "holistic" vision implied by the Anatomical Trains model, fractal mathematics, systems theory, and a host of recent studies focusing on myofascial force transfer. In this book, an attempt was made to "turn" these two ends in such a way as to help them meet. The application of Anatomical Train's myofascial meridian lines to gait dynamics (rather than compensatory posture patterns as originally implemented in practice) represents an exciting new direction for the Anatomical Train model.
