This monograph is not a textbook, not a reference book, or a "history of Hellenism." The author's task was different - to study the laws of the history of Hellenism, to determine the place and significance in the history of the ancient slave society, to include in the general natural process of the historical development of the peoples of antiquity. In this sense, the monograph is a work of a philosophical and historical nature, in which much attention is paid to special issues, topics of a problematic nature. The actual history of Hellenism is given quite systematically, and the reader will be able to get a clear idea of ​ ​ the consistent course of the political, economic and cultural history of Hellenism.
