The monograph written on the basis of foreign sources examines interstate relations in Western Europe at the end of the 15th century. based on the material of the First Italian War (1494-1495). Particular attention is paid to diplomatic training and the course of hostilities, the rivalry of leading European states in the foreign policy arena, the formation of forms and methods of diplomacy of the early modern era.
